將高級珠寶帶入奢華街頭風的珠寶設計師-Stephen Webster

不同於許多美國與法國的設計師,stephen webster來自倫敦鄰近區域的小城鎮-Gravesend.在webster身上彷彿看到倫敦少年的叛逆精神,高級珠寶也可以是搖滾無敵,骷顱頭,rolling stone的大嘴,毒蠍…他的作品絕對代表著街頭文化對頂級珠寶的反攻~!
webster對珠寶的設計,自青少年時期就表現得淋漓盡致,在16歲之際,就在 Medway設計學院研讀關於⌈珠寶與銀匠⌋課程;接著他又向Tony Shepherd拜師學藝,讓自己對黃金,銀製品,彩寶的技術更上層樓.80年代,webster到加拿大與美國,在自由的北美洲,他用瘋狂的設計擄獲許多人,但他決心在1988年回到倫敦,開始了自己的品牌stephen webster Ltd.
關於Webster的設計:
⌈Borneo系列⌋–運用古董圖騰概念的設計,大膽將鑽石排列做成宛如維多利亞時代的鑽石蕾絲
⌈玫瑰與刺系列⌋Rose and Thorn–玫瑰的刺青圖案為發想,大放異彩的將他最得意的設計,代表歌德意味的藤蔓之刺,與鑽石切割法裡頭最古老的玫瑰切工結合,創造出一系列遊走於新舊概念之間的作品
⌈Femme Fatale系列⌋–Webster將近年研究出的新車工‚以蜘蛛網為靈感的Web Cut 獨特切型鑽石,結合40年代黑色電影裡,美豔女人的性感冷豔形象結合,製作成有著49個切面的細緻耳環與項鍊
⌈搖滾系列⌋–Webster也將骷顱頭與來自日本,法國的守護神圖案放入設計,挑戰高級珠寶買家的視覺極限
